House of Assembly at 181 Sterling Road allows short-term rentals on Airbnb with nightly stays, no landlord commission and no pet restrictions.
Last verified November 3, 2026 by Park Place PropertiesHouse of Assembly is the first condo building in Marlin Spring's Sterling Junction community, in the Junction Triangle in Toronto's west end. Its neighbour is the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), and it sits next to the Toronto Railpath, surrounded by galleries, cafes, breweries and restaurants.
For guests, the transit is the selling point. The UP Express at Bloor station is about an 8 minute walk and gets to Pearson Airport or Union Station in about 15 minutes, so travellers can go from the plane to the front door without a car. Dundas West and Lansdowne subway stations are both about 12 minutes on foot.
The building is also very pet friendly, with a pet spa and a pet play area on the rooftop. Allowing pets opens your listing to travellers who often pay more and have fewer options. With no landlord commission and only 10 licences, House of Assembly is one of the least crowded Airbnb friendly buildings in the city.

A 1 bed + 1 bath at House of Assembly (181 Sterling Rd) averages about $300 a night and nets around $4,728 a month as a short-term rental. The same unit rented furnished for 28+ nights brings in about $2,500 a month before fees, which is why we only switch to monthly stays once the 180-night cap is used up.
Our analysis for this building puts the busiest months in June, July and August, the slowest short-term months in April and October, and the furnished monthly-rental season from November to March.
Because this is a newer building in a neighbourhood with few short-term rentals, the first well-reviewed listings here can set the market rate.
