It is a short walk from the bars and restaurants of King West and the Entertainment District, and a quick streetcar ride to Budweiser Stage, which hosts concerts all summer.
The building draws a younger crowd of residents and guests, and it has an upscale feel. That also makes it a good choice if you might live in the unit yourself part of the year, which matters in Toronto because you can only short-term rent your principal residence.
There are trade-offs. Airbnb guests can't use the amenities or the parking, and the building has pet restrictions. Guests arriving by car will need nearby paid parking, so say so clearly in your listing to avoid bad reviews. On the plus side, there is no landlord commission and only 41 licences in the building.
